TRAVEL TIME

Travel to session location is free for the first 15 minutes from Pinner. After that it is 75p per minute.

CANCELLATIONS

If you have to cancel a session and give us more than 72 hour notice then you will get a full refund.

We will refund 50% of the fee if you cancel with more than 24 hour notice.

No refunds will be given for cancelling a session with less than 24 hour notice.

For many months I had backache all the time.  I couldn’t sleep properly.  My family told me I was walking in a lopsided way.  After my consultant told me I should try yoga instead of taking painkillers all the time I booked Miti for 10 one to one sessions.

I was amazed when after the very first session my backache disappeared.  This encouraged me to do the exercises Miti showed me every day. 

Each session Miti showed me new exercises and gave me confidence to sit on the floor which I hadn’t done for 3-4 years.  We took pictures of how I stood and each week I became more and more straight.  I do my exercises every day for an hour. 

The breathing and meditation Miti showed me makes me feel calm and happy for the whole day. 

I am so thankful to her for making my life pain free, easier, and happier.

I was introduced to Yoga by Miti Shah in a small class of four ladies.  She came to my home for the sessions.  It was an enlightening  experience in how the various postures not only left me with a sense of physical well-being, but also made the mind very peaceful.  Yoga instils physical and mental wellbeing.

Miti has been an excellent Yoga Teacher for me.  Helping me with all the postures I thought I could never do, keeping in mind my physical injuries.  But also taking me down the spiritual path through meditation.  Something I thought I could never do either!  It is just beginning for me in this experience but I do hope it carries on for a long time to come!

I started having 1:1 yoga sessions with Miti earlier this year. What struck me about these sessions was how it wasn’t just yoga for the body, but also for the mind and soul.

When Miti came to see me for the first time she took time to get to know me and understand me, she then created a programme to suit my needs (but was very flexible with that depending on how I was doing on the day)

Miti’s teaching of the yoga helped me increase my confidence and self esteem. As well as teaching me the techniques of the poses and breathing, she also explained how these can benefit your mind.

FAQs

WHERE WILL WE BE DOING THE ONE TO ONE YOGA?
In the comfort of your home or workplace, either on-line*, or face-to-face **.

Travel is free up to 15 minutes by car from Pinner (HA5), after that it is 75p per minute.

* Using an application like Zoom or Skype.

** When there are no social distancing restrictions (eg due to coronavirus).

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A TYPICAL ONE TO ONE SESSION?
We will begin working with you before your very first session to establish what your priorities are and from these we will draw up an outline plan. Each session will subsequently be tailored to follow this plan, taking your progress into account, to ensure you get the most out of your time with us.

We will start a typical session by reviewing where we are and what the plan is for the day. This is followed by practical work, which forms the bulk of the session. The underlying theory for what we do will be explained as appropriate. And you will be encouraged to ask as many questions as you wish to ensure you are comfortable with what we are doing:-)

The last few minutes are spent discussing “homework”: suggestions for the regular personal practice that we encourage you to carry out between sessions! Depending on your preferences, you will be assigned 15-30 minutes of daily yoga practice. This will include a few minutes of meditation, which lies at the very heart of yoga.

IS ONE TO ONE YOGA MORE BENEFICIAL THAN COMING TO YOUR YOGA CLASSES?
Classes are useful as it’s always nice being part of a group. One to one tuition can be beneficial for beginners or people with specific requirements who are keen to take aspects of their yoga practice to the next level. As discussed above, we will tailor your sessions to ensure that you are personally getting the most out of these.
